## Add your first card

Scan the code, save your card and open it on your next shop. If the camera cannot read the code, enter the number manually.

1. **Choose a store**. Choose a store in your region. Its name and logo make your card easy to spot in your collection.
2. **Save**. Point the camera at a barcode and Cardhub fills in its number and format. Add a custom card with its number, name and colour. Your collection is not limited to the catalogue.
3. **Show**. Open saved cards without a connection. A weak signal in the store will not stop you showing your code.

### Do I need internet at checkout?

No, not to open a saved card and show its code. Your collection is stored on your device.

### Do I need an account?

No. You do not need a phone number, email or password to add and use cards.

### Which barcodes are supported?

Cardhub displays QR codes and common linear and two-dimensional barcodes. Choose your card’s format when adding it. Whether a code can be accepted from a phone depends on the store and its scanner.

### Can I customize a card?

Yes. You can choose its color, name, store, and note.

### How do I find a card quickly?

Pin cards you use often, search by name or number, or open a card using the popular cards widget on your phone’s home screen.

### What happens when I change phones?

Cards are currently stored only on this device. Cloud sync and automatic recovery when you change or lose your phone are not available yet.
